Week 26 Day 6
This is a psalm of praise
God is awesome
A God for all seasons
good times and bad
God is present
in my joys
and in my sorrows
in my doubts
and in my faith
This is a psalm of witnessing
tell the world
how great God is
through it all.
From the Psalms we learn
Without God I have nothing
with God I have all things
my strength is weakness
Yet in God's strength
I can accomplish the impossible
God is . . . therefore I am . . .
All that I am
is wrapped up
in who God is.
TESTED BY FIRELooking back over troubled times, I see the kind hand of God. Psalms 66 & 67
1Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
2Sing out the honor of His name; make His praise glorious.
3Say to God, "How awesome are Your works!
Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies submit.
4All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You;
They shall sing praises to Your name."
5Come and see the works of God;
He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.
6He turned sea into dry land, they went through the river on foot.
7He rules by His power forever, His eyes observe the nations;
Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves.
8Oh, bless our God, you peoples!
And make the voice of His praise to be heard,
9Who keeps our soul among the living,
And does not allow our feet to be moved.
10For You, O God, have tested us, and refined us as silver.
11You brought us into the net; You afflicted our backs.
12You have caused men to ride over our heads;
We went through fire and through water;
But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.
13 I will go into Your house with burnt offerings;
I will pay You my vows, 14which my lips have uttered
And my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer You burnt sacrifices of fat animals
With the sweet aroma of rams.
16Come and hear, all you who fear God,
And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
17 I cried to Him; He was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.
19But certainly God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20Blessed be God, who has not turned His mercy from me!
1God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us;
2That Your way may be known on earth among all nations.
3 O God; let all the peoples praise You.
4Let the nations be glad and sing for joy!
You shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations.
7God shall bless us, and all the earth shall fear Him. This Bible passage was condensed from the NKJV
